since i have been working on my book lately, i wanted to post different pieces of it, so i can eventually look back at the process.
It is like she owns the parlor as she walks by each room. All the heavily tattooed men, and some women, lock their eyes on her. Maybe it’s because of the way she presents herself, or maybe just because her hair is long and blonde with rainbow ends. She attracts attention, and when she gets that attention, she doesn’t care enough to acknowledge it. When we reach the room in which Natalie will go under the gun, she sits down and takes off her tube top, leaving her in just a sports bra. “I want it centered under my boobs”, she requests. The way the artist looks at her is like he’s never seen a girl in a bra before. Or maybe a girl has never willingly taken her top off for him before. Either way, it’s creep status. “Turner, when are you going to get more ink? I miss my tattoo buddy!”, Natalie whines. “I don’t know” I answer, “I have no more ideas left”. It's not like I don't want anymore ink, or that i'm suddenly against the whole idea. I mean, I do have quite a few tattoos, seven, to be exact. But that was when my ideas came to me like lighting hitting a medal pole. That was when my imagination was still functioning and my creativity still existed.
my goal is to slowly and surely work on this novel. it's a work in progress in the context of everyday-life inspired.

To dream of you, is to live in false hope.
NY I love you, but I gotta learn to let it go.
The people I know, the people In this town
Are all so cold, are all a let down
Feels like no ones around
Feels like im falling down
Feels like an endless battle
Theres gotta be more
Am I going too far?
(verse from to a currently-being-written song called "San Francisco".)
